Since 2008, over 4.5 million people across the U.S. have been trained in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). Now weβre setting our sights on the next milestone: 5 million trained Mental Health First Aiders.
After attending a recent webinar on the March to 5 Million initiative through Mental Health First Aid, April 22nd through October 10th, Iβm even more energized about whatβs ahead!
As a dual-certified instructor in both Adult and Youth MHFA over the past 3 years, Iβve had the privilege of not just teaching the curriculumβbut witnessing what happens when people begin to feel equipped, confident, and willing to show up for others in real, meaningful ways.

This movement isnβt just about numbers.
Itβs about πππππ¬π¬.
Itβs about ππ°ππ«ππ§ππ¬π¬.
Itβs about ππ‘ππ§π π’π§π π‘π¨π° π°π π«ππ¬π©π¨π§π to mental health in our communities.
Teaching MHFA continues to be one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. Every class is a reminder that small momentsβlearning how to listen, how to respond, how to supportβcan have a lasting impact far beyond the room.
Iβll be sharing my progress along the way (check out my progress bar π), along with insights and opportunities to get involved.
If youβve been thinking about taking a class, this is your sign.
