Growth Over Comfort Co.

Outgrowing Environments

Growth over comfort will ask you to outgrow environments that never fully recognized you.

It will ask you to keep producing, leading, and showing up—without applause, without validation, and at times, without being understood.

And if I’m honest, I’ve lived that.

In professional spaces where my voice was overlooked.

Where my experience was questioned.

Where being younger was mistaken for being less capable.

Not because I lacked ability—but because others lacked the perspective to see it.

And still, I did the work.

So when I received a simple acknowledgment from AnneMoss Rogers —

“I love watching your success through LinkedIn.”

—I paused.

Because that’s what being seen actually looks like.

Not performative. Not excessive. Just intentional.

And it reminded me of something I now carry with certainty:

I am not emerging. I’ve been doing the work.

I am not becoming an asset. I already am one.

Growth over comfort required me to believe that long before it was consistently reflected back to me.

So if you’re navigating spaces that don’t fully see you yet—don’t shrink to fit them.

Refine your voice. Strengthen your work. Expand your presence.

And when necessary, outgrow the room entirely.

Because the right spaces won’t just acknowledge your potential—

they’ll recognize your impact.
